intell d10166c chipset

i have an old mdg computer...has a intel d101ggc board in it 3.2 cpu and a 320 hard drive..thats all i know really...it came with 2 256 ram sticks in it ..i bought two 2 different ram sticks off of ebay ..both1024 mbs ..it will only run one at a time ..has to have one 256 in it and one 1024..or both 256 wich is slowwwwww..is there some way i can set it up so it can handle 2 1024 they all are 2.5 volts if that helps


i did some more looking ..in the bios thing my chip set reads
slot 0 512 mb ddr400)SPD 3-3-3-8
Slot 1 1024mb ddr 266)spd 2.5-5-3-6
slot 1 1024mb ddr 226)spd 2.5-3-3-6


d101ggc not d10166c ....

is it cause of the correction or the registration??? i can not run 2 ram sticks of the same type as slot 2 ...i don't get it at all
