go with 7/16" instead, it'll be easier to fit back there without kinking

also, which 360 rad are you using? if it's a thick one like the XSPC RX, and you're using fans in push, there's going to be very little clearance from the bottom of the fan to the top of the mobo..also, the fan on the very left is giong to get in the way of your tubing giong through that hole, especially if it's 1/2".. it's just a very tight fit, your 8pin atx is there too

i tried to do this myself then gave up because it was just too tight of a fit

but if you get enough 90/45 rotaries to angle it properly, it might work

also, for your gpu block.. if you're going in from the right, you need to go out from the left, & vice versa, flow will be bad if you go in from the right and go out from the right

I run 7/16 too, nice to know they will not come off even without having to use clamps.

I also ran the tubing behind the case/mobo tray for my setup, makes for a much cleaner build, does require more tubing (think I used 8ft)
Picture says it all:

I would go with a DD moonsoon if you have the cash BTW, I'm loving mine so far

Mine with no video card hookup. I think water cooling gtx 460's is a waste of $$ the air can clock crazy high and isn't loud.

Here is the moonsoon installed without the back plate (I was leaking testing)

I am aware of using 7/16" tubing with 1/2" barbs but I do not want to do that. It's not because I'm scared of them coming off, it's simply down to the fact that I like the look of compression fittings.

I already bought all of my 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing, I didn't come here for suggestions on tubing size, I don't know why most threads on OCN tend to drift away from the original topic of conversation but this seems to have done. My question was relating to the tubing positioning, nothing more.

Ah, right. I wasn't aware of the flow restriction, I'll bare this in mind Cheers.

I think it went that way because the smaller tubing can be used behind the case/mobo tray easier, but I know you could fit 1/2" back there too, only way to know is to try it, you can test fit a piece before hooking anything up.

I just recommend hiding as much tubing as possible, I just think cases with tubing running all over the place is messy and I would imagine a pain to do anything in the case afterwards too.

I have to agree with you 100%. Even though 45-degree fittings do reduce flow somewhat, I think I will still be using them to improve the look of the loop.
