I would worry more about 90* fittings like the 4 I have in my system for my GPU blocks

I didn't have to use any special fittings or outrageous bends to get all my tubing hidden as much as I did

45 degree fittings won't reduce flow any more than a bend in the tubing. 90 degree fittings will, especially if you use too many of them, and in the wrong places. a 45 degree adapter + 45 degree compression is much better than a 90 fitting. It's basically the same as making a curved bend in your tubing.

Mine's set up exactly how you're planning it. I don't mind seeing the tubing as I find it aesthetically pleasing.

It looks like I am going to have to put the tubing through the middle hole above the motherboard as the one to supply the power for the ATX plug doesn't look to have much clearance.
