oh, and if this sound set up can beat Dr.Dre's, that'll be another huge plus.

Budget is ~200$ might be able to do a bit more than that. I need the items to have amazing build quality so I can use this set up for 2-3years max

DUDE. Sansa Fuze and Head-Direct RE0. Undoubtedly the most that $200 has ever gotten me in all of audio. Incredible setup.

All of the other suggestions in this thread are too expensive on the DAP side and will leave you disappointed in your headphones. A 8GB fuze is $70 and an incredible DAP for sound quality. The RE0 are $100. That leaves you another $30 if you want to buy a 8GB microSD for 16GB total.

I'd get the older Fuze rather than the Fuze+.

Yeah the Fuze+ isn't worth it. If you have more then check out the RE-ZERO. http://www.head-direct.com/product_detail.php?p=89

Seriously dude don't even consider another brand in the price range... My RE0 easily compete with my much more expensive audio gear.

If you have even more cash, try and seek some of these out.

so a sansa fuze and RE0 earbuds?

Here's a bit of an example of the music that I listen to, please don't troll it

For sound quality i would go with a cheap sansa clip as they have decent enough internals, then spend the rest on good headphones and a portable headphone amp.

You could probably get the amp and sansa clip for ~200 but decent headphones are gonna cost around ~100 I'm talking high powered cans earbud's are generally trash. Best earbud's i have heard are Sennheiser CX 500-B, don't need a amp for that.

Yes.

Anyway, you might want to consider the Sunrise X-scape as well

US $80 5-6 day ship
