I'm not sure what else I can do for the cooler it's poorly made for amd CPUs.
You can only fit it with fans going to big boy and gpu. It will not seat like it does with intel CPU.
I am using 133cfm fan and 79ish
So you understand setup

Wait, what?

Both blowing away? They should be blowing in the same direction, passing the air through the cooler towards your top case exhaust fan.

I told my dad this and he said they needed to both blow away from the heatsink.
My idea was 1 blowing upwards from gpu into heatsink and the other 1 blowing toward big boy.
I wanted to blow in from gpu and out to big boy.

You were correct, your temps will drop to the low 40's I bet with proper fan alignment.

What fans do you have for Ven X. ?
1.425 underload then bsod
I don't think 1.425 is enough.
I'm running 4050mhz. Nb 2700mhz 1.3v nb.
CPU 1.45. With prime95 runnin it's 1.456.
Ram is 1.65
Just got bsod suggestion?
With fans fixed I'm at 56c max

depends on the stop code on the bsod. you might want to up your cpu-nb voltage to ~1.35. phenoms typically begin to get unstable at 55 degrees or above. what thermal paste are you using, and how did you apply it? you really should be getting better temps with a ven x.

Im using the chil factor that came with heatsink. thin layer on cpu and ven x.
I've just about gave up on overclocking it past 3600mhz.
All the combinations i've tried won't be stable.
I get lockups or BSOD's.
Highest i've been with cpu vcore is 1.475 and cpu-nb 1.35
Ram is made to run at 1.65v
I wanted to have my ram running at 1800mhz. So you need a freq of 225 for that then you go 2600-3000 nb and 1800ht with 4050mhz speed. And it wont stable.
Reverted back to 3600 2025nb/ht. 1800mhz ram..with prime 95 running for about 10mins its 45C. Is that too high for 1.3V?

the chill factor stuff should be fine. most people just put a rice grain sized dot on the cpu, but you probably did a reasonable job. i'm sure you can go higher than 3.6 ghz, you may just need to up your voltages a tad to get to 4.05.

try for 4 ghz with your ram and cpu-nb a bit lower than you'd ultimately like for them to be. that way you can find out what cpu vcore you need and go from there. once you get stable at 4, you can work your way up with the cpu-nb and the ram.
