I have had Western Digital fail on me. The prudent thing to do is always have backups (i.e. not RAID1) for data you cannot replace.

no doubt. I've recovered 2 failed Seagate HDD's with this method.

I only got one shot. They both completely failed afterwards, and no amount of freezing helped.

I have 80 games installed on my HDD. Sometimes you just feel like playing a game you haven't spent much time on or a random game at ut3. You may not play everyday, but it's nice to have the convenience and the option to play the game there and then rather than having to wait or not play it at all.

I feel your pain,i just finnished downloading 70+ ,328 gb of steam games.

My isp is likely to be chuffed with me lol,needless to say i wont be making any more silly mistakes again
