@amd-dude-if your not gonna post a pick of a stress test, temps, and cpu speed im gonna have to call BS on this. why not just start a thread to see if anyone else got there 555 @ 5.0ghz or more? not trying to be a dick, just calling it as i see it. im not saying its impossible, just that its hard to go by a cpu-z screen shot by itself and take you seriously

Some of the guys have suggested that i got a magic chip thats why i can hit 4.5 with 1.56v, i just wanted to know if it is possible to go higher without increasing the voltage cause i know the safe air voltage is 1.55v
Have to ask - How old or new is your chip and what stepping?

I've noted the newer chips CAN go higher than the older ones will with the same voltage or even less in some cases. My 555 is one of the older ones being a CACAC stepping 1004 dated chip.
The cooler you have is indeed good, better than what I have for mine at least when running it on air. At least my chip does unlock fully and is perfectly stable with no signs of a truly bad core. Thinking about picking up another one but it'll probrably be a 560 I get this time around.

Sometimes you get temps that act like mild phase if you use it right. Gets down to -25C some nights.

It's funny how everyone here complains about the cold but then someone in LA wants to live in a colder climate
