Just bought my gear tell me what you think

So after a week or two of grinding my brain, google, and this forum ive finally made my purchase for my first WC loop setup.

Let me know what yah think

Acrylic Tank Reservoir for Laing D5 (XSPC-D5RES)

Went with the D5 just because i had the space, looked more sturdy, small loop, and its a simple top and res in one deal not that the top does much for them but its simple.

next is

RX360 Extreme Performance Radiator (RX360)

I was REALLY drooling over the 480's and the gtx extreme hw labs, but i really needed to cut the price down, and i was just being greedy i hope, i was just really worried about performance and knew the rad was the key part, but i think i made the right choice

next is the ek supreme hf copper/gold
not much needs said about that, i almost went for the xpsc rasa but i just couldn't stand the look of it personally, altho if this gold block wasn't on sale i prolly would have got the rasa

next i went for primoflex 1/2 tubing
Enzotech Compression Fitting x6
Yate Loon 120mm High Speed
and Liquid Utopia - Clear

so first off whats everyone think?

next i have a few questions, i think the cpu block and maybe the radiator already come with fittings, the compression fittings should work with them right? I read some blocks or rads have to use the fittings that come with them?

next should i use all of the utopia or just use half the ammount it says since i hear to much chemicals in the water can be bad?

You can put the fittings on the rad/block as long as space allows. I know for a fact that they fit on the EK, and pretty sure they'll fit on the rad.

I've never used utopia so I can't say an exact amount. However, I'm sure it will come with instructions telling you how much to use. So read the instructions when you get it, no need to over do it and throw the whole tube in there.

1: The XSPC Reservoir doesnt come with a Pump, so I hope you ordered one of those too, (MCP 355 or 655 is usually recommended)
2: The RX360 is an awesome Radiator, and I believe you will be satisfied
3: Neither the CPU block or Radiator come with fittings. All they come with are what you use to mount them with.
4: If you bought any Liquid at all from a WC store, you got scammed. Distilled water can easily be bought very cheap and all you need other than that is som Biocide (some say PT nuke others say Silver kill coil) I use Distilled Water and some pills that is used to keep drinking water clean for 6 months.

Other than that, its a pretty good loop for what I think is CPU only?

good to hear the fittings should work thanks

i got this one was a combo deal with the D5 got a little cash off doin it that way

sounds good, there's such a greedy draw on those rads lol

for some reason the website was asking me what size fittings i wanted thats why i thought they might have came with them unless they were asking about the hole size in the radiator

and nope didn't buy any coolant planned to just use distilled water and that utopia stuff since i heard silver coils cause corrosion so the utopia sounded like the next best thing

and yah just an I7 920 right now thats been overvolted to 1.52 volts for the past few years on a stock fan computer started doing random resets and freezes so pretty sure i won't be doing much overclocking with it, ill prolly just take it to 3.5 or so and pray the watercooling extends its life due to the damage, maybe i can even undervolt it too if im lucky

when crysis 2 comes out i plan to sell my 4890 saphire and get something better with wcing so thats kinda why i was eyeballing those 480's and such, but its only going to be 1 card so i hope the 360 cuts it

A 360 will be fine for a cpu and 1 gpu.
