I've done more than my share of trial and error benching in the past but it's paid off.
I still tend to tweak things as I did before by using a mix of FSB, CPU multi and RAM settings/dividers to get whatever I can from my stuff but I have to admit the way things are now it's becoming more CPU multi-based than it used to be.

With the results I've been able to achieve across multiple platforms I can say I do know a few things about tweaking but there's still much more to learn on my part. With each successive platform that comes along, each is different and figuring it out is part of the challenge, then applying what I learned correctly is another part of things.

If I ever move on to the more extreme forms of cooling, it's like starting over from scratch and that's how I treat things whenever diving into something new.
Doing the research, trying different things and ways to apply them is all of equal importance in what I do.
