Hi there,

I'm new to over-clocking, normally when I build a PC I don't bother, but this i7 2600k was too good to resist so I just bought a system which arrives tomorrow.
  • Asus Maximus IV Extreme ROG P67 Socket 1155 ATX Motherboard
  • Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor
  • Corsair 8GB ((2x4GB) DDR3 2000MHz XMS3 Memory Kit CL9 1.65V
  • 2 x EVGA GeForce GTX 570 SuperClocked 1280MB GDDR5
  • Corsair Hydro H70 High-Performance CPU WaterCooler
  • 2 x Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB
  • Antec 1200 Twelve Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black

I'm really interested in getting the 2600k to 4.5Ghz, I've read lots of guides on over-clocking the CPU.

But I was wondering if there where any tips for over-clocking this particular model that you guys would be willing to share.

I'm also curious about over-clocking the RAM, but the CPU is my main concern.
