Haha, true, I'm still debating getting 8GB though... though I don't really know why. Haha.

I don't really do anything more intensive than gaming. Just some light web development, a bit of programming for classwork, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), plus web browsing, watching movies, listening to music. Every now and then use Photoshop a bit, but nothing too intensive and not with any particularly high resolution images.

Unlike what you may think, it is possible that in the future you will end up doing more. I personally dual screen (the second one is a old fat screen, just for extended purposes), and I never though i would do so when I parted up my sig. Now i'm paying games while using skype to show my screen to a friend and talk with a mic, and I lag ... What is overkill now, will be sonsiderated normal in few years:rolleyes:

Haha, yeah I'm sure games may eventually get around to using more than 4GB. But it still may be a while I think. I mean, back when BF2 was a RAM hog of a game, you still only needed 2GB to fix that issue. And now I saw some benchmarks (I think on tomshardware) showing that going from 3GB to 6GB showed pretty much no performance gain (in games like Bad Company 2 and Crysis, which are two games I'll definitely be playing). So if after this time we went from 2GB to only needing 3GB, I think I'll be OK with 4 tongue.gif

I also usually don't like to multitask while gaming, I usually get pretty engulfed in the game. I might keep Trillian open if I need to talk to someone, but I don't think that would warrant bumping up to 8GB. I'll just stick to 4 for now. Hopefully I'll be earning more money by the time I need to go up to 8GB, then it won't be a big deal tongue.gif
(currently a student with a terrible class schedule, so it's difficult to work a job around it)

Any particular reasoning as to why that's better than the Biostar or the Asus Pro? I won't make a decision without any reason.

Cool, I think it looks good for me then.

Another question, I've heard that using USB 3.0 can limit the performance of the last PCI-E slot in some boards, or something like that, or maybe it was using the last PCI-E slot limits the potential of USB 3.0. Is that correct? And does that apply to this board as well?

No pci-e limitation when for SLI/X-fire while using USB3 ports. The USB3 is supported by the on-board NEC controller. This applies for all P67A mobos thumb.gif
