Huh? Really? You do realize that they are two different things right? And RAID0 failure rate is highly over preached. Up until my SSD purchase it was RAID 0 on all my rigs over the past ~5 years or so without a single array failing. The last array of .11s was almost 2 years in on the same install of Windows without a single hiccup.
I realize that it can and will happen, but I have had more bad SINGLE drives over the years than raided drives go bad.
If a drive in JBOD fails you only lose what was on that drive as appose to a RAID 0 setup in which you typically lose it all.Edited by ryanrenolds08 - 1/19/11 at 5:53pm
