Just get the simplified version. You won't need the "extra multifunctional buttons". When it comes out, and gets some more solid reviews, I will buy a couple of them, and make sure they are "no slow". Trust me the only thing worse than paying $15 for a controller on craigslist and it being not "no slow" is buying one off of like Newegg for $40 that is still not "no slow".

For those who don't know no-slow means that you can pull the right and left thumbsticks and you won't fell any slowness in going in any direction.

Sites like this one sell controllers that yeah are pricey, but also have been tested and re-tested and sanded down behind the thumbsticks so there is no slowness when pulling to any side.

Trust me for any one who wants a good console controller, either buy the new razor/madcatz ones coming out, or buy from TCS. You'll thank me later. and don't do the "mail in a controller thing" from TCS, its not really worth it even though its 1/3 the price.

I might put up a controller guide sooner or later. I call dibs!

Thank you for your valuable information. Btw, the only difference between the two controllers is rubberized coating, tension adjustment (How useful is this?), backlit ABXY, and a braided cable . Both have the Same MFB's, although, From what I've gathered, the Basic onza also uses slightly higher raised sticks.

Well I play with Kontrol Freek's so honestly, whatever. KF's FTW!

Edit - I am familiar with controllers, a lot, like I have dissected them and everything, but honestly I don't know what you are talking about with the rubberized coating, and tension adj.

This was about 2 weeks ago, remember that. But I think a lot of it is fine. I mean how many of us acutally go to an MLG event. Not many. I went to Meadows 08', and since then I haven't been able to go to one, so honestly, unless you go to an event why not get the Razor controller, or wait for the Madcatz one.

I think unless you're getting into competitions then you may not see the difference for the extra cost.

Very untrue. Have you ever tried a "No Slow" controller? It feels totally different.

Nope, but point taken. I think this video demonstrates what you mean. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XynhCwBqWjc[/ame]
