Mainly focus on the ones next to the cpu, Do a stress test and see which ones get hot to tough and make sure they have proper heat dissipation from sinks and airflow.

Cooling won't help.
It has already been revealed that the VRMs use NIKOS MOSFETs which are rated at an extremely weak 25C.

So what do you suggest, another motherboard? I just bought this at Microcenter. I wonder what the return policy is.

I'm sure heatsinks help somewhat.

Im in the same boat as you, I have the same mobo, and Im rnning at 3.2 Ghz because Im afraid its ging to break.
Im regret ever cheaping out on a mobo, Im either going to wait for bulldozer, or Im going to get a Asus Formula IV
