The day after I installed a new wireless N PCIx1 card the connection in my rig started to be really slow. I have a 3mbit connection and it seems worse than 56k modem connection.

I just tried to upate SC 2 and the download speed would be 0.0kbs for a few secs and then it would go to 235kbs slowly and then drop back to 0.0kbs.

I tried removing the drivers from the other N PCI card and did not work, I also removed the drivers from the newer card and put back the older card and still the same thing. Last thing I tried was to do a system restore and uninstall all the wireless drivers and install the older wireless card.

I put the new card in my htpc and it works great so it's not the card.

I have 2 laptops and 2 more desktops working fine with the wireless connection.

Speedtest shows i got less than a 1mbit connection while my laptop shows i have a 2.5mbit (I feel ripped off).

I don't know what else to try other than reinstall Windows 7 or reset the router maybe?
