What made you switch from FreeNAS? I spend a few hours last night trying to setup FreeNAS 8 to my liking - webUI looks nice but feature-wise I found this release to be terrible. So many things they took out going from 7 to 8, so I switched to 7 which will hopefully work better for a media server setup.

The ability to configure my perc 5 was the main reason. I couldn't find any information on how to create a multiple hardware raid arrays in Unix/freenas. So I installed Windows, used the Megaraid Storage Manager, and never looked back.

Way too low. Were they taken with 8 F4EGs attached or just 3? Either way those figures are out.
