HAFX OR aNTEC DF-85

Thread Starter
I was wondering which casing will be more suitable for my needs I heard its hard to do cable management with Antec . I am not gonna setup any liquid cooling .

Price wise
Antec Df is 164 $

Haf X is 205 $

I want good looks , neat cable management and strong ,reliable material stuff , black interior

looks wise df wins for me ..!

You will not regret it. From my previous experiences with Antec cases, I feel that the HAF has a more sturdy build quality. One thing to note: Build it very close to where it is going to be set up. It is one heavy case. I think that the case is something like 30lbs before hardware? Here is a link to a pic of the inside of mine, so you have an idea of what you are working with. It is my sig rig. 56k warning.

Out of those two: Haf every time.
Have you looked at coolermaster's cases yet? They rock for cable management.

I was at MC and looked at both. I too was contemplating getting the DF-85. I did like that each fan had its own dust filter and was easy to remove and clean. The problem was it felt "cheaper" than the HAF. The HAF was sturdy and looked like it would last a long time. The DF-85 felt like the plastic was real cheap and that anything could break at any time.

Between the two? HAF X. Antec loses every time, to pretty much every other MFG out there.

HAF X.

Or if you want to save some money the HAF 932 is a nice choice, only drawback is no black interior unless you pay more for the HAF 932 Black edition that comes with no side fan and a huge window.

I was also looking at the DF-85 and ended up choosing the HAF over it. Haven't looked back once.
