Alright I should be ordering next week. I'm currently trying to figure out which one to buy, which one is the best for gaming?

I'm surprised no ones listed the HP dm1z with Fusion? Personally I'd go with the Hp fusion dm1z. Here's a review from Engadget. It's supposed to be awesome, 5-6 hr battery life, slim, 11.6 screen, fusion. Right now there is a deal for it, $100 off, and some free upgrades. IMO I'd get this one hands down.

If your main concern is gaming, id get a refurbed Asus G72gx or
G60vx off of newegg. They get great reviews. Everything else in the $700 is so underpowered.

Plus they both have backlit keys, which is a huge plus.

I should read better, the first one you listed with the higher clocked i3 and gt 540m would be the best of the 3 for gaming.

thats the one you want. In your price range, i dont think you will find any better. (unless you want used, or refurbished)Avoid Dell and HP, and especially anything with an 11 inch screen.

The second ACEr you list has a slower processor, a smaller hard drive, and a lesser graphics card, i dont know why it it the same price?

as you undoubtedly realize, its all aboout compromise. Do u want processing power or longer battery life? Better graphics or longer battery life? Smaller size and less power or bigger and more powerful. You can get smaller size with bigger power, but it blows your budget, and you dont want to be stuck with an 11 inch screen if your going to be using this machine most of the day........or do you? Only you can answer all these questions....but one thing is sure, whatever compromise you decide is the best for you, there are MANY choices out there to fit it

heres a core i5 with discrete graphics for $699. maybe on the bigger size for what you prefer, but one of the best deals currently

Looks like I changed my mind and might go with this. That extra money left over from the budget can be spent on my girlfriend.

Your playing with fire if you buy an HP. Im currently in the middle of a class action lawsuit against them, long story short........they sold a bunch of crap and would not honor the warrenty, denied issues, and then tried to charge me more than my laptop was worth for thier "fix", which didnt last anyway. Looks like ill be getting a freee compaq, but its taking a long time.

I spent hours on the phone with thier customer service and its terrible

People learn to buy from HP. They only have two yes TWO good lines of laptops. Their ENVY and ultra-portable series. The people that complain about HP are the ones that but the $300 laptops and expect them to run like $600 ones. Also people don't go and look for reviews for them. You always need to look at reviews for anything technology-wise.

I do agree with you guys on the Dell part, Dell is a terrible company, make poorly made and overall terrible laptops.
