Very Strange p8p67 Pro problem.

Alright, this is very strange. I've tried to google all over the place with no resolve. Basically, for some reason, EVERY DISC I pu tinto the drive gets read, BUT my windows 7 ultimate 64 bit disc. I can't figure it out. I wiped my OS drive and reset the computer with the windows 7 disc in but the startup would just completely bypass it like its not even there. I then tried a windows xp disc and it loaded fine, I then tried the windows 7 BETA disc I have and it loaded fine, same with vista 32 and 64 bit. I then tried the windows 7 disc on my dads old computer (the one i'm on now) and it loaded perfectly fine. Now, here's the strange part. I decided that since windows 7 wouldnt load from the bios or whatnot i'd install windows vista and just upgrade to 7. the install on vista worked perfectly, but as soon as I put the windows 7 disc in it doesnt even try loading it, doesnt spin up, nothing. I then try another disc like a game and vista again and they load perfectly fine. I honestly can't figure it out. I've updated the bios with a flash drive, i've tried plugging the disc drive into the different sata 3.0gb/s slots (should I try the 6gb/s ones?) and i've tried fiddling around in the bios a little. Everything is flawless except for that one very strange thing. Any help would be great.

maybe its a problem with the disc? Maybe you should make a copy of the disc.
