Asus P8P67 Pro issue - Page 4

I have the same problem! I havnt done much yet to try to fix it, for now I dont bother using 1min to boot up, since booting from ssd takes 10secs when I finally get into windows anyway.

I have:
i5 2500k
Asus p8p67 pro
CORSAIR 4GB DDR3 XMS3 1600MHZ CL9 PC12800 (2X2GB)
HD 6950

Newest bios 1253 installed.

Thing is, when I hit restart in windows, it restarts in secounds, if I leave it off for a few secs and reboot. I get nothing on the screen, I have to turn it off, and when I turn it on again, I get overlock failed. I enter bios, and directly just leave bios and restarts, and then windows starts.

You should absolutely try to set a manual multiplicator in advanced CPU options ! I guess it worked for me ! And anyway, i still have the intel booster...
Weird motherboard, i'm glad not purchasing it for myself

Hi all was just browsing and seen folks having the same problem as I was on my ASUS P8P67 so thought I would post the fix.

Go into advanced in the bios then into APM and ENABLE the POWER ON BY PCIE and F10 to save . This fixes the cold boot overclock failed . Hope this helps ya guys.
