If you're building a new rig or upgrading your old one with new graphic card, would you pick your own company brand nvidia graphic card or other competitive brand?

So I have 2 5770 MSI video cards that work great still... I bought them here at OCN. However, the cards themselves don't have a sticker with a s/n, but the boxes do.
If I happen to need to RMA them would they take them? Also is there a web link from SMI where I can check how may months/yaears they have warranty left.

If it can't be done online, is there a phone number I can call assume?

And about first one, I've sent e-mail to MSi few times and never got answer. Shop that i bought from took mobo for 2 weeks of testing, afterwards said they will change it to new if it's ok for me to wait month more.
Is this normal for MSI?
Mobo was just replaced with another brand after that.

If the PCB or cooling solution is modified in any way, warranty is void.

Please note the exact language terms: if you add waterblock and send it back to warranty with the stock heatsink missing, warranty void. Warranty can only be done on the card WE SOLD YOU, IN THE ORIGINAL CONDITION... a lot of people fail to realize this. But you can swap stuff out as you wish.

Ours, only because I know how this industry works and it's really eye-opening to see how some companies operate and stay in business.

You will need to contact us for any type of RMA, because without the MSI S/N it is hard to prove where you purchased the card from (and if it's even MSI). We would need your invoice, proof of purchase, the S/N off the box, and whatever S/N that can be pulled off the card. If it's a reference card it will have a reference S/N from AMD or NVIDIA, that at least helps get us a manufacture date. Beyond that, frankly it's a matter of us being able to verify that it is in fact a card sold originally by us.

I don't need to know who sold what to where, we need S/N for internal verification.

Ok since your msi do you know why they advertised hitting 1GHZ on the hawk but on any review ive seen, +200mv was required when afterburner 2.0 only allows +100mv. Is it even safe running +100mv 24/7 for my 900 mhz overclock?

So this means, that if I remove the stock cooling, put a waterblock, test the card, find it defective, remove the waterblock, put back the stock cooling (original TIM is of course replaced as a nessecity), and ship it for RMA, will it means the warrenty is void?

Ivory in Israel are the local importers for MSI and are incharge with RMA items.

Any issues with your MSI items you bought in Israel, you should talk to them.
Any major delay might be because they don't have what you need in stock, or only bring new items every once in awhile, or need to ship your item to MSI for further testing.

By law, they need to either replace with the same or give equal quality item.
No need to be snappy at MSI. Its not their fault.
