Considering MSI has never released a stand-alone VGA cooler not bundled with their cards, I would assume they have no plans of releasing this generation of coolers by themselves either.

My GTX 580 will not install. I run the NVIDIA driver software and it still shows the PCI device as an Unknown PCI. I have tried several different version and made sure that they are for the OS, Windows 7 64 bit. It installs the drivers on the default VGA device and that freezes the computer until I go in safe mode and undo it. I have tried to manually select the drivers and it does the same thing. PLEASE HELP!

The msi 580 lightning... How would this be in terms of thermals if running in SLI with a DCUII? It's tempting but I don't want it to limit my CPU OC.

Thanks

Dear, MSIalex
I have some questions for you.

Do you work for MSI?

Does MSI stand for MSIalex's Super Ideas?
(because we all know that all of MSI products were created by you.)

Did MSI create you in a lab for the specific role of answering questions about MSI products on overclock.net? If so, can you feel emotions? If so, do you plan to create other MSIalex clones and rule the world? If so, will you spare me (I will totally friend you on facebook if you do)?

Does MSI release products on Mars, I plan to move there in the future?

Are you the CEO of MSI? If so, how many aliens have visited the Earth?

If you had one wish, besides owning MSI of course...unless you already do (see above question), what would it be?

...and now the question I'm sure EVERYONE has been waiting for...

What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything, and MSI?

Thanks for answering my questions, if you do.
If you don't, then no thanks for you!!! No soup either.

This is meant to be humor to spark up the life of MSIalex, by interrupting the usual boring questions that are all usually related to MSI.

The answers given to you in that other thread are all you need.. download latest drivers from NVIDIA's site, and do a clean install/reinstall.

I'm not sure what your question is about, because SLI involves questions on slot spacing, case air flow, etc.

Frankly, DirectCUII sucks because not many boards can accommodate 2x without severely restricting airflow to the top/#1 card.
