BSODs "Blue Screen of Death" from ATI Overdrive and MSI Afterburner

Anytime i trying do any overclocking to the slightest degree with the programs i get BSODs after applying overclocked setting, i'm running the ATI 10.12 driver. Any help to resovle this would be awesome.

You can always try to disable ULPS in the registry

tried disabling the ULPS for windows 7 64bit, though i could only find the one in the 0000 file or whatever you call it, same result
