Need to recover files

Thread Starter
I accidentally deleted 60GB worth of files on my computer just earlier.

It happened when I realised my downloads was going on my SSD card and it was almost full. So I decided to change the location of my downloads to my 2nd hard drive which I cut the folder 'Downloads' to my D drive and pasted it. Took a while to finish but when it did. I noticed the SSD card had more room. When I went into My Documents and still saw the Downloads folder I opened it and it was the same before I cut it. So to me I thought both my SSD and D drive had the files. But it shouldn't have, because it freed up more space on the SSD after the cut. So I deleted the folder in My Documents called 'Downloads' and it said it is too big so it will have to be done permanently. I thought this should be fine as it is on my D drive anyway. But it wasn't and it ended up removing everything.

I tried a system restore point from yesterday, but for some reason that did nothing. In fact it looked like nothing changed, so I cancelled/undid that system restore.

What do I do? I downloaded some programs but nothing seems to be working.

Any help would be appreciated!

Think you need to download a data recovery program, I think you can find one by searching up EASEUS on Google
