Need help! Roccat Taito vs Steelseries QcK mass

Currently looking for a mouse pad for my 710BH. My options (within my budget and in my area) at the moment are the Taito and the QcK mass (the thick medium sized one). I'm leaning towards the Taito because of the sheer size of the thing, but I haven't seen very much by way of reviews on that pad, whereas the QcK is widely used.

Thoughts on these two mousepads? Is the QcK really that much more durable than most pads? What about the Taito, does it wear easily?

The QcK is definitely widely used but it loses its initial nice feel fairly quickly from what people have told me. I've heard really good things about the Taito and top players from the professional team mTw use it as well. Based off photo's only the Taito appears to have a tighter weave which might indicate less loose fibers after significant use.

so I'd be pretty much be paying for the brand name with the QcK? oh and from what I've seen the taito's reaaaaally slick, which is a huge plus for me!

hmm.. so that's one point towards the taito

hello,
i was thinking of posting a similar thread, sorry for hijacking.
i have used a qck mini, and after some months of use,the cloth started peeling off.i guess mass is similar in make, only thicker?can anyone else confirm that?
how does the razer goliathus fragged(speed/control) fare against the taito?

Yes indeed it is. Watching the WCG 2010 CS finals between Na'vi and mTw I also saw a few using the Fnatic Titan mousepad which uses the same Fibretek weave that was licenced and used in the Razer Mantis Speed which I still have. It's a very nice slick pad. Many friends I know have moved away from higher friction pads like the QcK to one's with less friction. I don't like pads with a high static friction or be slowed down when I move my mouse far or come to a stop then go move fast again and that's why I have never thought about a QcK or similar, but to each their own.
