..and there you have it folks!

Results: CPU (Still gettin' the air out) 4.2GHz, 920, 1.425V, HT On, Load on...

Low fan speed: 75-75-75-75

High Fan Speed: 71-70-72-69

GPU: Around abouts the 40's when gaming.

I'm pretty happy, a lower CPU temp would be nice, but hey, I'm using fans with crap static pressure and the temps went down 20* on loads.

Very similar setup to what I just ordered, though I'll be cooling a 950 and a GTX 580. What fans are you using fr0st, out of interest?

Yeah, when I lifted it off I facepalmed so hard my glasses slipped off. :/ It was EVERYWHERE. I only used a pea-sized blob this time, I spread it out myself too. I really had no idea what I was doing when I first built my computer

They're Antec TriCools, red ones obviously. They're really good for the "blang-blang" but not good for WCing set ups of heat sinks due to their poor static pressure.

Ya, you only need a tiny dribble of paste. What you had there was like an 1/8 of a tube!

Mmmm, I used the compound that came with my heatsink, Prolimatech PK-1. Really good stuff that, was in one of those smaller tubes, IIRC, I used the entire tube

I've already drained it once, that went.... okay...

I have a wide shallow bowl that I put on top of my PSU, I undo the stopper on the 5970 and let it drain, I also drain the res with a peice of tubing that I have left over but sticking it in and sucking then letting it drain itself out.

Not the most efficient method...

Clean? Coming from you? Thanks

It's so much more red in person, I love it.

Oh, and I'm rockin' a 4.3GHz HT on 920 now, load temps are about the same, I really need some better fans with good static pressure...
