CPU Cooler / Case fans / Prolimatech Megahalems vs ??

Hello ! This is my second post on overclockers.net , and I hope someone will help me smile.gif

I'm going to buy a CPU cooler , but for now I don't know which one :/

I'm looking forwards CPU coolers from Prolimatech .. There is Prolimatech Megahalem , Mega Shadow , Super Mega and umm Armageddon if I'm correct .. Might be more , but I don't remember ..

Which one of them would be best ? [ Would be best I guess , out of these ]

I read that there is basicly no difference , but I'd like to hear more from you guys / girls smile.gif

Example : If I buy Prolimatech Megahalem , will it fit in HAF X [ Cooler Master Full Tower Case , HAF - High Air Flow ] ??

Can I add 2 fans to Prolimatech Megahalem in emm puch , pull configuration ? I'm not sure if that's correct , because I've never done that , I'm new to '' doing something '' , but I know kinda a lot ... So if I can add 2 fans to Prolimatech Megahalem , then what kind of fans should I look at ?

Scythe Slip Stream or something ? Like this : http://www.dateks.lv/cenas/96/33344_scythe_slip_stream_120_mm_1200_rpm_68_54_cfm_24_dba_120x120x25mm.php ??

If like that , then it has that umm metal wire emm which clips it to CPU cooler [ Megahalem ] ? Or do I need to buy that wire , and if buy then what is it called ?

If there is anything better than Prolimatech Megahalems or Mega Shadows etc.... [ No liquid cooling ] then what would be it ? Like Nocuta maybe ? Also if yes , then could you please tell me answers about previous questions [ Putting in HAF X , adding fans to CPU Cooler ] about your suggested cooler that's better than Megahalems and are not liquid cooling solutions ?

2nd part

HAF X Cooling

http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6653&category_id=18

Front:230 x 30 mm red LED fan on/off x 1
Top:200 x 30mm fans x 2 (one optional)
Side:200 x 30mm fan x 1
Rear:140 x 25mm fan x 1
VGA Fan Duct:120 x 25 mm or 120 x 38 mm fan x 1(optional)
VGA Holder:80 x 15 mm fan x 1(optional)

'' (optional) '' does optional fans come with it too ? Probably not right ?

Please give me an example [ like name to fan ] or [ link to product would be very appreciated ] about fans I could place in Top 2nd slot , VGA Fan Duct and VGA Holder , because when I will get HAF X I plan adding all possible fans ... ?

I heard , read that Side Fan , already installed Top fan and emm Back Exaust Fan , that they are not very good ... Can I replace them ?

If they are good please tell me smile.gif Also if I can replace them with something better , then please tell me with what smile.gif

Is there emm a Fan Controlling Device that could control my CPU fans , Case Fans [ Example : HAF X and Prolimatech Megahalem emm puch and pull 2 fans , don't know which ones are compatible for CPU cooler thought ( put on it ) ] If there is such device , could you please tell me about it ?

3rd part

HAF X ... Is there a Full Tower Case which has better Air Flow , Air Cooling and other features than HAF X ? I am ~95% sure I will buy HAF X , but is there really anything better ? It basicly has everything .. Air cooling , Liquid Cooling holes for tubes , wiring , tool-less hdd drives etc. , VGA fan duct and Holder .... And for looks , I love the look , looks awesome .. [ I know some doesn't like it's looks , but for me it looks awesome ]

I'm sorry that this is so long and so many questions , but I don't know anyone or any place I could ask them :/ I really like PC stuff , but nobody I know knows anything about PCs .This is the only one I know , and I hope someone will help me with these many questions smile.gif

p.s. English is not my primary language so there might be some mistakes.

I'm not sure, but all of them are very good so I would either buy the best looking one or the cheapest.

It will fit with ease

Yes, you can have two fans on it in push pull configuration.
Scythe Slip Stream or something ? Like this : http://www.dateks.lv/cenas/96/33344_scythe_slip_stream_120_mm_1200_rpm_68_54_cfm_24_dba_120x120x25mm.php ??
Those are good fans but I would get the higher airflow ones.

I'm pretty sure that the second wire comes with the coolers.

Another cooler to consider is the Noctua NH-D14. I'm pretty sure it is on par with the Prolimatechs and is a bir quieter.

Optional fans don't come with the case.

Cooler Master 200mm fanThis one can go in the top.
Cooler Master R4This can go in the 120mm fan holes.
I really wouldn't worry about the 80mm fan hole.

In my opinion, they are good fans.

I think the HAF is the best case for you.

Wow thank you very much ! smile.gif

So if I want to have push , pull configuration I need 2 fans , and that meas 4 '' metal wires '' like emm clip thingys to hold them ... You [ spRICE ] said that they will come with CPU Cooler [ Prolimatech Megahalem ] .. I guess only 2 will come , not all 4 ?

Also Scythe Slip Stream , it has all holes needed to mount it on Prolimatech Megahalem yes ? Basicly every every Scythe umm Case Cooler 1200 mm or 140 mm could be put on Prolimatech Megahalem , or only ones called '' Slip Stream '' ?

p.s. Is there specific name for that metal wire clip thingy that hold fans to CPU Cooler ?

I'm not sure about the names of the clip thing, but if you search for prolimatech clip something should come up. And yes, any 120mm fan will fit, but first make sure that it is 25mm thick. The cooler uses the standard fan mounting holes. You should use matching fans for push-pull though.

Ok smile.gif

Push and pull setup .. So I need to have 2 IDENTICAL fans ? I place them like this ?

@$$$$@
@$$$$@

@
@ = fan

$$$$
$$$$ = CPU cooler ?

And the first fan [ closer to back exhaust fan ] should be faced other direction than 2nd fan is ... Example : I look at my mobile phone , I see screen [ 2nd fan blowing towards 1st fan ] , I look at my mobile phone and I see back of it [ 1st fan sucking air and pushing it towards back exhaust fan which pushes it out] ? Right ?

I'm starting to like this forum smile.gif

Well you should have identical fans so the airflow is equal. And the fans should be blowing through the heatsink, not against each other or away from each other.
