should I upgrade to windows 7

Thread Starter
Guys. Im running vista 64-Bit Ultimate. I want to run xp also because Im using autocad 2004 and it will not work in vista or with 64 bit. Im using my old rig to run this but im sick of running two pcs and I do not have the room. So I was thinking of dual boot with xp and vista. Or do I get windows 7 64-Bit Ultimate that has xp built into it. What one will be easyer to use and have less bugs.

or I just hard about Virtualbox too.

what do you guys think? Looking for some input.

thanks

I say that you should get Windows 7 because it really is worth it! It is way less buggy than vista and it is faster too. When I had vista I ALWAYS had problems but I've been using 7 for a year and a half and I haven't had one problem.

Win7 rocks. Go for it, well worth the upgrade.

Also, wnXP mode isn't as great as using virtual box with winXP in it if you have a winXP disk... but if not jsut use winXP mode.

OK sounds like its win 7 then. As long as the wnxp works when using autocad to run it and saving stuff Im fine. I know cad wants to see a video card too so if it sees all that in 7 with that wnxp I'll get it.
