1.55 for voltage is "safe" max, and for 640s, from what I've read around seem to clock around 3.6 give or take a hun'ned.

Keep voltage at 1.45 or below unless you can add mosfet cooling on that board. It's one of the more notorious to have mosfet problems/failures, however you're only running a 95W processor so some overclocking may be fine. Don't push it.

MSI 870-G45 is a chipset-based motherboards with the elements of the military class, which supports 64-bit AMD Phenom X6/X4/X3/X2 II, II X4/X3/X2 Athlon, and Sempron CPUs. I have a table where you can not unlock and I got a quad. It is very high, I see a lot of people say that NewEgg unlock.

Hey thanks for the answer. I just got back home and im trying to OC this baby.

I'm currently at :

FSB : 240
Multi : 15x
Core : 3600
HT Link 2160
CPU/NB : 2160
RAM : 1600 9-9-9-24-33-1T

vcore : 1.44 (1.48 under max load)
vRAM : 1.67 (couldnt get 1.65 in the bios O_o)
v CPU/NB : 1.274
everything else is in Auto

Max temp after 15 min of prime is 44C (core temp 34C) (Max temp for the CPU is 71C on AMD website)

I' ll let u know in a few hours if its stable 3.6Ghz should be okay. I didnt expect much from a 50$ mobo anyways .. its nothing compared to my CH4

Heres a little screenie just after i started p95 will post another one after a few hours

okay forgot to take a screenshot but it was stable after 17hrs of prime. Mobo temps were a little high tho (almost 40C on TMP2)
