Yea well, the OP has a FAR better rad and pump and a much better block to boot than those excuses for watercooling the Corsair Hydro series.

no kidding right...

but if is is worrying about 55c in general? or just for his setup?

55c is on ice for these CPUs.

Folks want to make sure they're getting all they can. If you're new to water, the only way to know if your loop is operating like it should is to poll folks who've been watering computers longer.

BTW-my i7-950 is currently clocked down to stock and folding on all threads SMP at 43*C Tcase in my 20C room. Not to make you jealous or anything.

I gotcha, I guess I just read his OP differently and just wanted to let him know he is safe. I remember when I thought 55c was just crazy hot and it was with older CPUs

I fold on my 920 @ 4.2 right now and for the passed week.... my H50 hasn't let it go above 75*c.... no to make you jealous or anything

Currently I'm testing W T F is going on with my CPU fan header. Hence the stock clocks...due to minimal restriction, the temps don't rise linearly-so they are right around yours at overclock without the need to really throttle my pump up past 50% RPM.

For some reason whenever I finish a folding WU-my CPU fan header goes stupid and throttles off my PWM water pump. I've been trying various ways of keeping this from happening for the last week. And am running out of ideas. It only started doing this after I switched to triple channel memory from dual channel.
