well i wasent going to waste it i was going make a loop back into my water pipe so i would never use the same water more then once. i guess minerals will eventualy build up after awile because when i first finished with my water cooled setup i used normal tap water and i didnt see any build up.

i porbly wont do this for some time because i still want to finish my normal setup and not use a 13 dollar water pump and maby a new rad

Heat exchanger..... transfer the heat of your loop into the 12C copper pipe and water.

well i saw on discovery channel that new york has the highest quality tap water in the country. i found that to be interesting.

generally speaking it would be a bad idea. you would be wasting lots of water and tap water is conductive and has corrosive minerals in it.

if you want to go all out, and make a rediculously huge water loop just increase your res size. theoretically the more water there is the more heat it can hold. maybe like a 10 gallon fish tank or something. hehe.
