I5 2500K & Prolima megahalems High temp?? - Page 2

Ok guess ill stick with my cute solo then I don't plan to OC that much but its nice to start with some headroom.

Otherwise I was thinking to go a P183 case & NH-d14 instead of solo/megahalems.

I just think my temps are a tad higher cuz of the solo, i already reseat the sink like 5 times using less/more TIM (used mx2).

im really tempted to get another case

CM 690 II advanced, I love mine .

My temps with i5 2500K with h50 at idle is @ roughly 29/30c, whilst load without OC is about 46c. Temps seem pretty stable too.

Temps are fine, I am running a similar setup: 2500K on ASUS P8P67 PRO with Prolimatech Super Mega, however I use lowrpm push-pull (1000rpm max) and have with a 1.28v 4.5GHz overclock 29/65 for min/max.

As for case, I can recommend mine: Fractal Design Define R3

Ur temps are ok

Venomous-x here: Idle: 25° C, Full 39° C / OC @4ghz: Idle: 27° C, Full 44°C / Room: 21-22° C
