Good. He learnt his lesson. No wood screws were shown this time.

I'm not sure if its even worth it anymore to put the R&D into half nodes at the 20nm and below nodes. With only one or two nanometers difference, I think the resources will be better off used for future nodes than half nodes.

Exactly my point; the shrink from 32nm to 16nm (the next full node down past 22nm) is insane. Considering they already skipped 22nm; I just doubt they'll have a full functioning 20nm line in 3 years.

So the generations go as fallows: Fermi -> Keplar -> Maxwell

Was it a coincidence that Microsoft announced that Windows will be ARM compatible and here we have Nvidia announcing that they will be making an ARM-based CPU?

So, will Denver replace the system's main CPU, or will it be an "accelerator" of sorts?

I remember reading a few months ago, that if Nvidia were to make a CPU (which they are) they could put it on the GPU, so that the GPU is not limited by the CPU. In other words, the GPU wouldn't have to rely on any calculations by the CPU for graphics (I'm talking pure visuals. Games are another matter.)

So, do you think it will be used to take the CPU out of the graphics equation, or will it be used to replace the CPU altogether?

Because that would be extremely short-sighted and stupid.

Think about it.... Intel and AMD are meeting the needs of the low-end GPU better and better. CPU and GPU are converging and will eventually meet the needs of medium level performance. Intel has the marketshare, R&D, and money to force their way into GPUs. AMD already acquired ATI and have Fusion to show for it.

If NVIDIA only continues to make video cards, they pushed into irrelevance in a few years. Why do you think they invested so much into chipsets, PhysX, CUDA, GPGPU, Tegra, etc?
Once again...
