No, im not against DLC at all, vietnam is an excellent piece of DLC, but EA as bad as they ever were, they just want to be #1 again, and that requires making better games than the competition currently.
Zaeed definitely wasn't meant to be a fully featured character, nor was Kasumi (She wasn't even finished), compare how much stuff you can do with all the other team members on ME2 to them, they say a few things and just add a few things in their quarters whereas the rest of your team have full on dialogue, especially Zaeed, he pretty much says "I've got something I want done" and even when you're done he's pretty much "Here's some stories for you Shepard.", whether they were finished before ME2 came out or not, it doesn't change the fact they aren't close (Kasumi is better than Zaeed in terms of dialogue though, and ME2 only had her voice files before the DLC came out) to a stock ME2 character.

As such, I'll be extremely skeptical of this next game until we see a few basic features set in stone.
With someone as greedy as Kotick owning Activision, you can bet he's looking at ways to increase profit (Non-dedicated servers means they can shut them down, so unlike CoD4, it won't have MP going still) and telling them to do that, hence why this is IW in name only pretty much.

I hope this installment will be longer than Modern Warfare 2, at least, because I thought it was a bit too short.

I would rather have seen a Black Ops 2, which I'm pretty sure when a Call Of Duty 9 will come out.

You'd be amazed at what kind of developmental freedom EA gives it's developers. It's one reason the indie market is flocking to EA. EA doesn't like to meddle it's it's IP's anymore than it has to.

Just because a game sells doesn't mean it's good. I guarentee you I could package "Click here to win" button, label it "Starcraft 3" and make several million off of it. The collectors edition comes with a one use "Click here for pretty colors" button.

This franchise is like Dynasty Warriors, Saw, Final Destination, and Lethal Weapon. Let's keep slapping numbers on the end of releases and keep the name going.

The ONLY reason I played Black ops (which from the storyline would be better renamed to Call of Duty: Tom Clancy's edition.) Was because it had Treyarch's name attached to it. After seeing how much I enjoyed W@W I decided to give this a shot.

It's obvious how much Activision has it's hand in this IP and I refuse to go near it ever again.

There's still a master server you have to connect to in order to get the game working. To my understanding it's nowhere near as expensive to run as the peer-to-peer method favored by most console shooters, but it still exists. Sure there are ways around it, but I'm not sure how that would affect PB.

You can still connect to servers and as you said, there's ways around it...Kotick would want a way he can just shut down all MP with a button to force anyone to the next game.

Well guys I mean still it is CoD but at least it is developed by someone new! New potential, and maybe these guys are making huge changes!

Although they should stop with the Modern Warfare idea, and be the first company to succeed in the Future Warfare area.... (yep I am hating on Battlefield 2142 XD)
