GTX460 for physx? wouldn't a 9500GT do the job? beside physx is dying so I suggest you to think again!

A 9500 GT as a PhysX card for the GTX 570 would actually bottleneck it because its PhysX processing power is inferior to the 570's PhysX processing power. So, the 570 would perform better by itself than if the PhysX processing were given to a 9500 GT (or even a 9800 GT).

I saw a thread where extensive testing was done and the end result was that for a card like the 570, a good place to start for a PhysX card is with a GTX 285 or better because the PhysX processing power was good enough that it actually provided desirable and noticeable results.

agreed with twin cables...realy for physx a 460 is a good thing because they can be found for 100 bucks now days...

also, physx isn't dead...i don't know where you're getting that, but physx i think will take of even more soon when people start seeing the difference more...it's more fun when it's realistic

Just buy one and see for yourself and if at some point its not fast enough then get another newer model cause 570 will last for a couple generations of gpu's.
well the only reason i was wondering was because when turning physx on games take an fps hit...with a second 570 with physx on at 1680 1050 on max settings i heard metro 2033 is pretty playable...but not with one..so if i can play 2033 i feel like it might be a good place to be for a while...you know?
