i7 980x quad SLI, need help desigining the set-up. - Page 4

I have about the same setup, only 480's instead of your 580's.I went for dual loop, this is my result.

Gpu's use 1 TFC360+TFC240, mounted top and back, Cpu uses a Thermochill PA 120.3 mounted in the bottom of the case. Both loops have a MCP655.
Gpu's max at 60C @850mhz, Cpu cores max at 65C 4.5Ghz 1.45V

just set your computer in the sink and run cold water over it continuously

Really nice, 480's are hotter than 580's so that should be plenty. You have the GPUs in serial it seems, what parts you used to coonect them ? and is it better than parallel ? Also whats the size of your tubing ?

Cheers!

It's been around a week of looking into the forums here and there, but I dont seem to get a clear idea of how to turn my current air system into a watercooled one, so I was hoping for any help any of you experienced watercoolers could give me, as I am getting lost...

The rig consists of:

Coolermaster HAF X Silverstone TJ11
i7 980x
EVGA X58 Classified 4-Way SL
4x GTX 580 in SLI (quad SLI)
Silverstone Strider 1500

The parts I was thinking on using were:

CPU: Swiftech Apogee XT Extreme Performance
MOBO: EK Water Blocks EK-FB EVGA Classified 4-SLI - Acetal+Nickel
GPU's: EK Water Blocks EK-FC580 GTX - Acetal

I was thinking on getting a MO-RA3 9x140 to cool the whole loop, but I dont know if this would be enough considering the extreme heat that would come from OC the whole system (not to the extreme but to some extent), also do I need 1 or more pumps for this rad ? 1 or more reservoirs ? I was thinking on the Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPRO PK2 ( 140x140x25mm ) fans to cool the radiator.

Also what would be the best order in the loop ? I have been looking into some posts but I cant get a clear view of how to do this monster set up, it is kinda overwhelming me.

Any idea on what connections would be best to connect the SLI cards waterblocks ? any ideal tube sizing for such a gigantic heat generating loop ? and fittings ?

Thank you so much for the help guys.
Fixed.

I use Bitspower sli connectors and 13/19mm tubing. Difference from 1st to last gpu is 2C,so not that much! I have no problems with flow, and this is cheaper, parallel needs more sli links....

I dont see your reservoirs, I guess they are on top front. Not cooling the MB ?

Any shop in Europe for Bitspower ?

Cheers.

Except, the preassure in a sink is alot higher than what CPU/GPU blocks can operate at.

In the manual of my EK Supreme-HF it says that the seals of the Block will break if I connect it to the Waterline

I use this>http://highflow.nl/reservoirs/bay-re...ck-acetal.html

It looks good, but when flow is too high, air gets into your loop. Therefore i filled up the res completely and reduced pumpspeed. As far as mobo-block, there is none for the P6T7....
