Reversing the reverse airflow in Lian-Li A05N

I bought an A05N the other day and loaded it up. Works well enough, cpu stays cool, hard drives stay cool, gpu is toasty. I'm going to be putting in two 280's to replace my single 260, though, and I know that'll probably make the case melt.

So I'm going to drill a 120 blowhole on the top of the case as an intake. However, at that point, wouldn't it be more effective to flip around this cases back-to-front airflow a front-to-back?

Also corsair HX580 was a poor choice. Its just long enough to make it a pain to route cables behind the drive bays.

I should have this case today, I plan on cutting a 140mm exhaust blow hole on top and make the 2 case fans suck in cold air, cut a hole on the bottom of the case for the psu (HX-650) and isolate the psu exhaust from the intake front fan with some foam molding behind the front cover, then again my gpu doesn't put off much heat (GTX-460).
I have a HX-750 psu I was going to use but it to is longer like your HX-850 so I will use the shorter psu, I plan on isolating the psu to hide the wires by making a false floor that extends up and around the top of the psu.

putting the air flow from front to back will probably be a great improvement to overall air flow inside your case.

another reason your GPU is warm is because heat from your CPU is being blown into the case rather then exhuasted out the back, so heat from the cpu is being sucked into your gpu.
you could probably try one of these to help exhaust heat from the top of the case.

or one of these.

I'm drilling a blowhole, its just the matter of the other fans that Im debating.

So did you go through with switching the fans?

I have this case and bought the 140mm top cutout and a fan, but can't get the fan to go in straight. Waiting on some as5 to put on my coolermaster 212, but would like to do everything at once when the comp is apart.
