Now that the virus is removed, and you reformatted, can you reach your previous overclock? Sorry, i'm finding it difficult to read your style of writing.

If you set the slider to 850, and it crashed, that means the overclock was unstable. Nothing is wrong with your pc, it just means that the overclock is not stable. try for something lower, eg 830.

If you can increase the voltage, bringing the voltage up will make 850 stable, but will make the core hotter.

1. have you rebooted the PC?
2. have you reinstalled drivers?
3. have you checked the temps of the GPU? have they raised from when the OC was stable?
1: Yes.
2: Yes.
3: 42C under load, its under water.

It only happens once in a while (twice actually). I reinstalled the drivers and it didn't do it for a while until I ran Heaven and Heaven had a fatal driver error and then the video card had a driver crash once when loading SC2. Otherwise I've never gotten them.
