AWKAY. Well. I'm already having problems , and have had so from the 1st day I began OC'ing just the HT ref --- Any increment to the HT ref above ~203 MHz results in stupid disconnection on the LAN port :@ -- and this is a common problem. SO simply went the multi. way and never faced a problem!!

I'm O K with the card drying on me -- I just don't want it to overheat and / or blow up :/ can't afford that !

yes... like i said though, i always read that it shouldnt be overclocked. i saw that it could go up to 150 in the bios so i experimented with it when i found it booted fine at 150. temps are fine, and like i said it helps stabilize overclocks when the only variable is the pcie speed. if there is a software that displays pcie speed, i will gladly post screenshots.

edit: AMD overdrive shows the speed. i will upload pics

Bumping this for more replies

People!! No1 here has an opinion on whether or not the pci-e lanes have anythgin to do with the southbridge's Sata channels ?? The pcie bus IS connected to the CPU via the HT link THRU the NB. Not the SB.

My only concern is that I'd like my raid0 to survive the OC , that's it !
