Is there any good tweaks for gta iv with the latest patch that I could get?

I'm pretty sure the newer the patch the better it'll run on multi-core CPU's. However you need to OC that thing to get a squeal out of GTA IV. I run it at 40-50FPS at 1440 x 900 everything maxed and all the sliders set to 50...and my CPU is at 4.1ghz

CPU is everything in GTA 4....

Even to this day this is one of the most demanding system wide games I know of, all cores running full, lots of ram, and all the Vram, ohhh yahhh!

It's the ENBseries mod that is important and makes it video card dependent. I get 29 FPS
when the gtx 580 is oc'ed to 900 MHz even though view distance are set to 30, most other on high/est. Without super sampling I get over 60 FPS. There were little difference between normal and oc'ed CPU about 2.5 to 3 FPS with ss.

The benchmark results seem to bounce around a bit.

Try turn of "force nvidia card" should solve the 9600 problem
