How to lower HZ on zowie EC

Hi, Im really interested in buyiing myself the zowie EC2.

Ever since my XAI broke down, ive been using my deathadder 3.5 and ive began to like the better tracking and the ergonomic shape. but the mouse is too big and i broke mouse 4 lol.

So im looking into the zowie EC2, but the only problem is is the mouse is 1000hz by default and the software cant change it, ive heard alot of complaints about, and since i cant stand using 1000hz(feels like crap) id preferto use 500 or 125hz when playing games.

Is there a way i could lower the hertz down to 500 or 125?

Yeah thats a good question. You could try to use mouserate switcher and force it to 500Hz, that should work but I haven't tried it.

Yes you can easily change the hz without any software. In order to change the polling rate you need to first unplug the mouse. Hold a side button with the hz you want to use and plug it into your PC. Don't let go of the side button until the wheel lights up. Use software to confirm your polling rate has changed.

Plugging in the mouse with no buttons held = default 1000hz

Plugging in the mouse while holding the front thumb button = 500hz

Plugging in the mouse while holding the back thumb button = 125hz

Zowie EC2 black:

125Hz = ~150Hz:: Hold buttons 4 and 5 and plug the mouse into USB. When the wheel lights up, the mouse will be with new Hz.

500Hz = ~605Hz: Hold button 4 and plug the mouse into USB. When the wheel lights up, the mouse will be with new Hz.

1000Hz = ~1010Hz: Hold button 5 and plug the mouse into USB. When the wheel lights up, the mouse will be with new Hz.(Only do this if you have previously changed to 125 or 500Hz).

I'd wait for the new mouse with the EC2 shape and AM internals.
