Dedicated FAH Rig 2600K

Yup, pulled the trigger on it finally. Although I might decide to swap it around with my i7 950 only if I can build a seperate rig around the 2600K biggrin.gif

$5 PP to the person who can most accurately guess what I'm building my PC out of (sigrig not accurate) Closes when first shipment arrives.

i7 2600k
Asus P8P67 Pro
4GB DDR3-1333 or 1600 (G.Skill or Mushkin maybe)

CPUGraphicsRAMHard Drive
Intel Core i7 6700HQ nVidia GTX 965m 16GB DDR4-2133 120GB M.2.SSD

Cheaper in the short run? Maybe..
45-50K from GPU's are about eh 4-5 GTS 450's right? Well think about how much power those cards are eating.

Lol I know, I'm a bit on the tired side tonight. My sarcasm output goes from none to over 9000 (kinda like women in metapause :O).

Correct, those 5 GTS 450s would consume over 500w. Then factor in cpu, mobo, and fans and your probably near the 650w mark. An i7 dedicated folding rig is under 300w while producing the same (assuming an overclocked 2600k).
