From off to fully useful desktop I get about 55 Seconds (I Just used a stopwatch).
Thats stripped down to windows only.
My general use setup takes me about 65-70 seconds because I load up Trillian, Steam, Skype, UltraMon, Avast and a few other small things Like Hamatchi, Rainmeter and DropBox.

Im satisfied.

12 seconds or 21 seconds depending on what constitutes as a boot.

For me, it's roughly ~8 seconds, not counting the time to POST.

From the starting Windows glowing logo is like 5 seconds i think.
From the bios screen is 30 seconds, second more second less.

Damn, I just LOVE my C300. Expensive as hell, but you feel like driving a Ferrari with some expensive italian shoes on your feet and the Miami Vice theme on the radio. Hell yeah.

lmao its 105 seconds because:

i get big stupid bios messages like "Sata controller not detected" (which my hard drives work so idk what that's supposed to mean) and then i got a "keyboard not detected" message because i guess my keyboard doesnt work with the bios. plus i get the asus bios message in the beginning.

and THEN i get an option of which thing of windows i want to start up on (it asks me if i want to start the win7 loader but i'm not gonna get into that on this forum, if anybody knows how to make that stop happening though that'd be cool)

and THEEEEEN it asks me for my password. but windows itself starts up SUPER fast. like from the windows logo to the time when it asks me my password is like, maybe 10 seconds.

Funny, my boot time is 16 seconds but my restart time is reported as 68 seconds.

I leave my system on 24/7, so my restart time is more important than just my startup time.

I think there's an app out there that times only the startup time, but I found it to be very inaccurate. :/

***?
I get ~15 seconds starting the clock the instant my motherboard's POST finishes, and I stop the clock as soon as I see the desktop - but not until I see the "Working In Background" mouse pointer change to the normal pointer.

It's actually very simple: just close everything (like your web browser and stuff), double-click the program, and then click OK.

Whoa. So then between shut down and your mobo's POST, that's 52 seconds that you're having to wait in addition to the ~16 seconds of just Windows starting up.
