I was thinking tvs cause the wall mounting brackets i was gonna get are extendable so i can have the tvs in a curved manner. I use a 46 led tv as my main monitor now and i dnt think it looks bad at all, i think it looks better then my monitors wich is another reason why i was leaning towards tvs.
Im open for suggestion right now so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
How far do you sit from the TV? You would have to sit like 2 feet back to get the full benefit of eyefinity. At that distance, it will look like crap, and there will really be no benefit over some smaller monitors.
I have three HG281Ds in eyefinity. It's amazingly huge, without costing a fortune. I got no stuck or dead pixels, and the color quality is quite good. There is a newer version out, which can be had for $250 new, $210 refurbed.http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4938558&SRCCODE=GOOGLEBASE&cm_mmc_o=VRqCjC7BBTkwCjCECjCEhttp://www.mwave.com/mwave/SKUSearch_v3.asp?px=FO&scriteria=AA98799
Note that I-INC is simply a rebrand of Hanns G. There is no real difference.
You could also go with 30 inch monitors, but for 4 times the price, I don't think it's worth it over these unless you are doing graphic work or something.Edited by foothead - 1/21/11 at 8:19am
