It's easy to overthink this kind of thing. Get the DataVac, open case, use various included attachments (that extra set you bought is basically useless) and blow air into every nook and cranny. You can even use the brush attachment to remove the dust that has settled and stuck. As for the video card, same procedure; use the tube attachment with the mini-tip and blow dust into every opening you can, making sure you hit the fan as well.

Afterwards, wipe up area, vacuum. Start collecting dust again

I've been using a compressor for years with no ill effects. I try to do it weekly as my HAF 932 is such a dust magnet.

What about DEMCiflex Dust Filters ?

They have filters for HAF X as well.
