Difference between Lancool PC-K58 and PC-K62?

post #1 of 10

I'm considering both these cases, and I'm wondering if the K62 is worth the extra $30.

I think the only difference is the K62 is black inside? I just got the K62 and coming from an Antec 900 that was grey inside (same as K58) I think it is worth the $30. It just makes things look so much nicer. It's purely a preference thing

If the only difference between them is the black interior then I'd go for the black interior @ $30 more.

I had a vanilla HAF 932 for the longest time and I hated that dull grey interior. Personally I love the interior of the HAF-X now.

Is there a clear side panel for that case with the fan hole there already? I haven't seen one, so maybe someone here has is why I'm asking.

$63.78 shipped to my locale in NJ for that panel! OUUUUUUUUCH! One can almost purchase another good case with what that costs. To me it's not cost effective while one can then argue of getting a CM 690II advanced and then get the clear side panel for $19.99 plus shipping is more financially sensible to me.

Thanks again!

I know, I asked and not for price.

But those prices are IMHO.

Long story short I was able to purchase a HAF 912 basic case with 2 200mm fans brand spanking new shipped at close to the same cost of that one side panel.

The HAF 912 basic $36.62 - was "fun" from where I purchased it and because an HAF 912 basic was originally going to be exchanged (because the first HAF 912 had a few issues) and then cancelled but still received it so I had some leverage to keep it and able to negotiate an additional $10.00 off (not for them to pay shipping back the second one back the one I currently own) from the original $46.62 it cost me - LOL!

2 CM Megaflow Blue 200mm fans $33.50 shipped.

Total = $70.12

Not too bad I say.
