Probably differentiate them by putting a letter at the end of the model number. Like a "k"....

NB: Yes, I know that the non-k SBs are lower binned chips and are sold cheaper because their OC potential is limited.
It would've been neat if it wasn't such a gimmicky useless feature. If it was say, a quick-release for the heatsink casing then hey, that would be neat. That actually has some benefits; will be able to dust it without fear of stripping any teeny little screws.

I genuinely don't see much of a future in overclocking as it grows in popularity. All i see is manufacturer's going all commercial with it with feeble/dorky ad campaigns and locking out means of overclocking and only giving the "keys" at a price.

All it'll take to be an overclocker is someone with a thick wallet and the ability to move a few frequency sliders around in a bundled "overclocking" software program. Kinda defies it's purpose, eh?...

Betcha, thats what'll happen , then we can say "hai1!1" to all the new illiterate pc nubs on OCN xD

lol. just lol.

interesting concept, I can see it used on tech benches...but in the real world, unless you go without a side panel.

At first I thought it was a locking mechanism to keep your card from being swiped at a lan party.

Why is everyone thinking about an overclock switch? By the way it's made it looks way more as a clip to remove the cover, so no need to unscrew everything to remove the dust (similar to the Galaxy GTX470 but in a more fancy method).

Really? I like the way it looks, minus that stupid looking keyhole.

im betting it changes direction of exhaust, either out the back or out the top towards the cpu LOL

That 'turn key' is a button to switch the BIOS

Well, if your going away for the weekend, and want to let someone else use your computer while your gone, but not play your games, just turn the key to the "Low Performance" setting!

But really, I think the design is cool, though it would be better with one of the Sapphire girls on it as well, and to flip between your dual BIOSs, it looks cool, but like most said, if your running a two card system somewhat impractical.
