ASUS VH202T 20" in Eyefinity?

+REP for anyone that can help.

Hey guys
So I've been in the market for a new monitor/s and have came across the ASUS VH202T 20" monitor at $120AUD.
I'm really not that well acquainted with monitors at the current time so I could really use the help.

I'm just wanting to know if this size monitor will be okay for Eyefinity, if the 'specs' are good and will my computer be able to run 3 of them in eyefinity in lets say, Crysis (/\\/oob) with maxed settings smoothly.

Basic 'specs' of the monitor
Brand and model - ASUS, VH202T
Size - 20"
Native resulotion - 1600 x 900
Contrast Ratio (MAX) - 20000:1
Response time - 5 ms
Inputs - DVI-D/D-Sun, 3.5mm audio jack

Recommendations to other monitors is much appreciated (nothing too expensive only 15 working at mcdonalds)
+rep for any one that can help

Also my current monitor is a ViewSOnic VA2216w 21.5" 1680 x 1250, I don't want to downgrade

It's always good to remember that resolution is more important than the size of the screen, so in this case, I would consider it a down-grade. If I were you, I would try and find a 21.5" (or larger) with a 1920x1080 resolution and LED-backlighting. I don't know how easy it is to find good deals on monitors down in AUS, but up here you could score a 21.5", LED, and 1920x1080 for ~$150 (AUD).

In short; Save up some more money, upgrade resolution (maybe screen size too), get one with LED backlighting and enjoy HD-Eyefinity.

Here's the monitor I was referring to:

Don't you mean 1680x1050?

Also, it's not worth going 900p for eyefinity. If you want eyefinity, get 2x more of those (probably) 1680x1050 monitors.

Thanks for the help, just had a look around for a 22" 1080p monitor for a nice price, came across the Acer G225HQBD 21.5" monitor for $145AUD, she doesn't have LED backlighting as you suggested I get, but I have actually seen this model in person and the quality is really very nice for it's price

What do you think?
Also how would my system got in a demanding game at 5760 x 1080?

I'm going to say it was a typo
I really dislike my monitor at the moment, so I need to move on
how about the Acer G225HQBD 21.5" 1080p? links just above you

That's a cheap screen too. I don't know anything about the USA prices. The monitor prices in finland are like 2x of the USA ones.

That's a good deal on that acer IMO. If you only want to keep it landscape, it should do.

Even with a 2GB 6000 series card, you're not going to put out max settings on Crysis at 5760x1080 at playable framerates. You'll need to sacrifice some detail as well as antialiasing. AA is the primary VRam hog-there are games out there that'll eat 1-1.5GB of VRam at 1680x1050.

Some games get glitchy in Eyefinity, like Dragon Age Origins. It is still more than playable, but foreground objects disappear and reappear as you approach them...and reappear when you back away.

All in all Eyefinity is a great feature. A bit of detail sacrifice is worth it for the much expanded field of view. Some games you need to manually alter the field-of-view parameters as well as the resolution settings as they aren't smar enough to deal with Eyefinity out of the box.

Dude. A 6950 can get playable frames at max settings in just about every game aside from crysis and metro 2033. Even a 5850 can do BC2 in eyefinity, without AA or HBAO...
