[YT] Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo Announce Trailer - Page 15

Face facts, no matter what they say, they will focus more on the console versions. I dont like it either but:

1. They are trying to break into the console market, they already have an established PC following

2. There is more money in the console market, the console market dwarfs the PC market - and yes, that is exactly what it is all about. Money. If you dont like it, then maybe you should quit gaming and go buy a guitar or something.

3. Just because they are releasing a demo of a small part of the game as a console exclusive does not instantly mean the PC version will be *****.

Get a grip, the PC elitism on this forum is unbearable sometimes. Times change, those who do not change with them are doomed to history.

If anything we should be greatful they are making a PC version.

This forum has a strong emphasis on PC, so if you don't like PC gaming maybe you should go to find a crapsole forum instead.

Have a cookie troll

Im an avid PC gamer, but we have to understand that consoles are where the big money is. I wont even bother wasting my time looking for evidence that supports that fact, everyone on this forum should know that from the numerous articles on the topic from the past.

There is no question that PCs are the superior gaming machine. However the popularity of consoles over PCs these days, especially in the current economic climate where a single PC component can cost twice as much as an entire gaming system, means that developers simply cannot ignore the console market if they hope to survive.

As this is Cryteks first venture into the console market, who can blame them for going at it with everything they've got.

They stopped being a "PC gaming" company as soon as they announced that Crysis 2 would be multi-platform. That may have been how they started, but IMO they are simply a games developer.

You guys are all missing the point complaining about Crytek selling out and going multi-platform. A company, a business only cares about profit. Games nowadays cost millions of dollars. If they are not gonna recoup their losses and gain a profit why would any developer/publisher agree to create a game? This is why Crytek developed a game engine that takes away a lot of the work porting the games over to consoles thus this game should be good for all gamers.

Valve has been giving away years of free content for their games....

I just got some new TF2 goodies the other day

Just got done playing the demo on my brothers xbox. It was decent for a console version. The graphics were alright, but Crysis on PC blows Crysis 2 on xbox out of the water on graphics. I liked how your suits energy bar drained a little slower while in stealth however, I disliked how Maximum armor drains away suit energy now without taking damage.
What's going on.

So wait...
Crysis 2 has a demo. And it is only for the 360...
If this isn't a foreshadow of things to come then I don't know what is.
I'm not buying this game, lol.

crapsole gaming = $299
PC gaming = $59 (9800GT upgrade, because everyone already has a PC in their household) 9800GT blows the crapsoles out of the water.
