reccomend sound card for swan m10's and ad700

Thread Starter
i'm considering jumping the boat on buying a set of swan m10's (matches my phantom case white) , and i have a pair of ad700's on the way

problem is that i'm still onboard audio

i typically game alot and listen to music alot

which asus sound card should i get?

and no creative, i've had 2 DOA's in a row and a the 3rd working set was a nightmare to install

Especially with your budget, I'd look into an external solution. TBH sound cards SUCK when compared to a good USB DAC.

no no no. Look into Beresford TC7520 or the . Both will crush an internal solution.

Really? hmm I always thought Soundcards would be the way to go. You linked us to a headphone amp though, would this be the same for 2.1 speakers? I myself have a pair of Swans

Give the Xonar DG a try, it's PCI, is $30-$40 and is of great value. It might be too soon for me to recommend this since I just got it, but I needed a dedicated sound card with a built-in headphone amp for gaming, and this seems to be doing its job so far.
